What is the significance/meaning of safety certifications (Regulatory)?
People may believe that a product which has passed the national or international safety regulations means it is a good quality unit. But the truth is this conclusion is only half correct.
Indeed, it is no doubt that users can trust existing international and national safety regulations to reflect a power supply’s short term stability and performance. However, it isn’t directly linked to a power supply’s overall quality. It’s more accurate to consider minimum safety regulations as an informal non-tariff trade obstacle. Merchandise that fails to pass some countries’ safety regulations cannot be sold there. But those regulations are not necessarily determined by experts in the field.
