Quick Setup – I just got my CK721, what should I do first?

IMPORTANT

Please charge your CK721 for at least 2 hours before using for the first time to ensure optimal battery usage.

 

UPDATE FIRMWARE

To ensure optimal use of the product, please make sure to follow the instructions carefully to update the latest firmware version for the first time.

 

STEP 1

CONNECT THE CK721 IN 2.4 GHz MODE

Plug in the dongle to the USB port of the PC and toggle the side switch to 2.4 GHz mode and make sure the CK721 is connected in 2.4 GHz mode.

 

STEP 2

DOWNLOAD MASTERPLUS+ SOFTWARE

Download the latest Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software from the link below.

STEP 3

OPEN MASTERPLUS+ SOFTWARE

Open the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software, it will automatically read the current firmware version of the device and pop out to tell you to update the firmware.

Press “Install” to update the firmware.

 

STEP 4

START WIRELESS FIRMWARE UPDATE

When the firmware update window pops out, click “OK” or press Enter key to start the update.

 

STEP 5

WIRELESS UPDATE COMPLETED

After both the CK721 and dongle firmware are updated, you can confirm the wireless firmware version has been updated.

 

STEP 6

CONNECT THE KEYBOARD IN WIRED MODE

To fully update your keyboard, please remove the dongle, plug in the USB cable to your PC and toggle the switch on the side of the CK721 to WIRED mode. Make sure the CK721 is connected in WIRED mode and then open the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ Software for the complete update.

 

STEP 7

REOPEN THE MASTERPLUS+ SOFTWARE

Open the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software, it will automatically read the current firmware version of the device and pop out to tell you to update the firmware.

Press “Install” to update the firmware.

 

STEP 8

START WIRED FIRMWARE UPDATE

When the firmware update window pops out, click “OK” or press Enter key to start the update.

 

STEP 9

WIRED UPDATE COMPLETED

After CK721 firmware are updated, you can confirm the wired firmware version has been updated. Now the CK721 firmware update is fully completed and your CK721 is ready for normal use.
