Upgrade the Firmware – How to upgrade CK721 Firmware?
To ensure optimal use of the keyboard, please download the MasterPlus+ software from https://masterplus.coolermaster.com/ and update the latest firmware.
NOTE: To fully update the CK721 firmware to the latest version, please make sure to update your CK721 in WIRELESS mode (2.4 GHz mode) first and then complete the full update in WIRED mode.
IF WIRELESS FIRMWARE VERSION IS BELOW 0119
STEP1
Update Wireless Firmware – Connect CK721 in 2.4 GHz Mode
Make sure the dongle is plugged into the PC, and the CK721 is connected in 2.4 GHz mode successfully.
STEP 2
Update Wireless Firmware – Open MasterPlus+ Software
Open the MasterPlus+ software, it will automatically read the current firmware version of the CK721 and pop out to tell you to update the firmware.
Press “Install” to update the firmware.

Update Wireless Firmware - Enter CK721 Wireless Firmware Update
When the firmware update window pops out, click “OK” or press Enter key to start the CK721 Wireless firmware update.

Update Wireless Firmware - Enter CK721 Wireless Firmware Update
Starting the CK721 firmware update process, make sure USB cable is unplugged and toggle the switch on the side of the CK721 from 2.4 GHz mode to WIRED mode, and switch back to 2.4 GHz mode.
STEP 5
Update Wireless Firmware - Updating CK721 Wireless Firmware
After switching back to 2.4 GHz mode, the CK721 will start to update the CK721 firmware automatically.
STEP 6
Update Wireless Firmware - Updating Dongle Firmware
When the CK721 wireless firmware is updated, it will show the following window to start the dongle firmware update automatically.
STEP 7
Update Wireless Firmware - Complete Wireless Firmware Update
After both the CK721 and dongle firmware are updated, you can confirm the firmware version has been updated.
STEP 8
Update Wireless Firmware - Complete Wireless Firmware
Press “OK” to exit wireless firmware update process and switch the CK721 to WIRED mode to fully update the keyboard.
STEP 9
Update Wired Firmware - Connect the CK721 in the Wired Mode
To fully update the keyboard, please switch the CK721 to WIRED mode with removing the dongle, plugging in the USB cable, and switching the side button to WIRED mode.
STEP 10
Update Wired Firmware - Reopen the MasterPlus+ Software
Open the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software, it will automatically read the current firmware version of the device and pop out to tell you to update the firmware.
Press “Install” to update the firmware.
STEP 11
Update Wired Firmware - Start Wired Firmware Update
When the firmware update window pops out, click “OK” or press Enter key to start the update.
STEP 12
Update Wired Firmware - Wired Update Completed
After CK721 firmware are updated, you can confirm the wired firmware version has been updated. Now the CK721 firmware update is fully completed and your CK721 is ready for normal use.
IF FIRMWARE VERSION IS ABOVE 0119
STEP 1
Update Wireless Firmware - Connect CK721 in 2.4 GHz Mode

Update Wireless Firmware - Open MasterPlus+ Software
Open the MasterPlus+ software, it will automatically read the current firmware version of the CK721 and pop out to tell you to update the firmware.
Press “Install” to update the firmware.

Update Wireless Firmware - Enter CK721 Wireless Firmware Update
When the firmware update window pops out, click “OK” or press Enter key to start the CK721 Wireless update.

Update Wireless Firmware - Updating CK721 Wireless Firmware
Starting CK721 wireless firmware update process.
STEP 5
Update Wireless Firmware - Updating Dongle Firmware
When the CK721 wireless firmware is updated, it will start the dongle firmware update process and update automatically.
STEP 6
Update Wireless Firmware - Complete Wireless Firmware Update
After both the CK721 and dongle firmware are updated, you can confirm the firmware version has been updated.

Update Wireless Firmware - Complete Wireless Firmware
Press “OK” to exit wireless firmware update process and switch the CK721 to WIRED mode to fully update the keyboard.
STEP 8
Update Wired Firmware - Connect the CK721 in the Wired Mode
To fully update the keyboard, please switch the CK721 to WIRED mode with removing the dongle, plugging in the USB cable, and switching the side button to WIRED mode.
