CK721 Cannot be Connected at all with PC, Tablet or Phone in Bluetooth Mode


Try the following steps to fix issues with your CK721 in Bluetooth mode.

 

STEP 1

Check if your PC, Tablet or Phone is compatible with the latest Bluetooth technology

CK721 keyboard is equipped with the latest Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which is the latest generation of Bluetooth and is not compatible with a device with an older version of Bluetooth (Version under Bluetooth 4.1).

 

To make sure the CK721 keyboard is compatible with your device, here are checking suggestions:

1. Make sure your device has been updated to a recent operating system:

  • Window® 8 and above (NOTE: PC with Window® 7 is not compatible with BLE.)
  • macOS 10.13 and above
  • iOS 9 and above
  • Android 6 and above

2. Check if BLE is supported by your device hardware

 

STEP 2

Set your CK721 and Enter “Pairing Mode”

Complete the pairing on your PC, Tablet or Phone

Make sure to follow the pairing steps and the indicator and DEL/PGUP/PGDN keys light up with a solid GREEN light for 3 seconds, the pairing is successfully complete.

CK721 Has Already Been Connected, but Frequently Gets Disconnected or Laggy

If you’re having connecting issues listed as below under Bluetooth mode, here are some troubleshooting suggestion:

ISSUES REASONS
Connection Drops CK721 Under Low Battery Level
Delay When Using The Keyboard CK721 subjects to RF interference from other sources, such as other wireless devices, mobile phones, and so on.
CK721 Cannot be connected at all CK721 with Old Firmware Version
Potential hardware issue (CK721 or Batteries)
Connected device with old operating system (OS) or incompatible hardware

 

Troubleshooting CK721 Connection

  • Check the CK721 battery level and charge the keyboard
  • Update the CK721 to the latest firmware version via MasterPlus+ software in both Wireless and Wired mode.
  • Make sure to move the CK721 closer to the connected device, and are within close proximity of each other.
  • Keep other wireless device and metal away from the CK721 to avoid interference.
  • Make sure your connected device operating system (OS) is up to date.
  • Make sure the connected device Bluetooth version is compatible to your keyboard.
  • Unpair/Repair the CK721 by the steps found here.
